09/29/09 UPDATE: Hope is ready for her new home. She is in her foster home now and is loving life. She is wonderful with children and is perfect with other dogs and cats. She is a busy little girl but very lovable. She still has a heart murmur and the vet said it is still hard to tell if it will subside and it could take up to a year or it may be a congenital problem. Hope take a heart meds twice a day but NOTHING and I do me NOTHING slows her down. If you can give Hope a wonderful forever home...e-mail for an application k9hope@gmail.com. 08/11/09 UPDATE: Hope is doing much better, she's a lot less itchy and her appetite is back to normal Beagle status. She was evaluated by the vet again yesterday and was found to have a heart murmur. This could be from her poor nutritional status that she is still recovering from or it could be just a heart murmur. Only time will tell. She was put on some heart medication and will be re-evaluated again in three weeks. 08/04/09 Hope is an approximately one year old Beagle. She was rescued from the streets of our community by a wonderful lady who sponsored her emergency vet care and cared enough to find her a place to go. Thank you Cheryl. She is not currently available for adoption as she has both demodectic and sarcoptic mange and is very emaciated. She will staying with us until she is better before going on to a new home or rescue. Hope's condition did not allow her to be vaccinated or spayed but those things will be accomplished when she is feeling better.
